A pharmacy professional is needed to oversee the oral dispensing pharmacy operations in Des Plaines, IL. Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill, verify, and dispense prescriptions efficiently and accurately
  • Perform clinical reviews of prescriptions and coordinate patient follow-ups
  • Manage benefits investigations, prior authorizations, copay and financial assistance programs
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, accreditation standards, policies, and procedures
  • Oversee quality assurance and inventory management
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and assist with daily pharmacy operations
  • Collaborate with prescribers, payers, patients, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and clear Illinois Pharmacist License required
  • Experience in MID/oral dispensing pharmacy essential
  • Solid background in pharmacy operations and medication dispensing
  • Proven ability to work independently and supervise pharmacy support staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
