Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) – Retail Pharmacy

A well-established retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead pharmacy operations and oversee a dedicated team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the designated Pharmacist-in-Charge and oversee daily pharmacy operations
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and DEA regulations
Manage controlled substance programs, inventory controls, and diversion prevention efforts
Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization
Drive operational performance, accuracy, and patient satisfaction
Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and pharmacy performance
Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license in good standing
2+ years of retail or independent pharmacy experience
2+ years of Pharmacist-in-Charge or pharmacy leadership experience
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Immunization certification required
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
