A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee operations at a 503A Compounding Pharmacy. This role is pivotal to ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient fulfillment of prescriptions, along with managing sterile and non-sterile compounding activities. The PIC holds full regulatory accountability and directs daily functions, supporting continuous quality and compliance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses, unless otherwise assigned.
  • Act as the primary liaison to Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of operational, ownership, or facility changes.
  • Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations, including batch record management.
  • Lead pharmacists, supervisors, technicians, and production staff.
  • Support production scheduling for timely delivery and inventory control.
  • Drive quality assurance initiatives and continuous process improvement.
  • Qualifications:

  • Active Pharmacist License (PA required).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager.
  • Deep expertise in USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and compliance with state and federal regulations specific to 503A compounding.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Location: Wilmington, DE
    Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Flexible Saturday hours if needed
