An opening opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge to serve as an Interim Director of Pharmacy and PIC within a behavioral health facility. This contract role offers the chance to lead pharmacy operations in a setting with a licensed bed capacity of 165 and an average daily census of 130 patients.

Key responsibilities include managing staffing and administrative functions of the PIC role, overseeing pharmacy operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Onsite training and mentorship will be provided by the retiring Director of Pharmacy during the transition period.

Coverage is needed from August 31, 2026, until a permanent hire is secured. Scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional on-call duties after shifts and coverage on weekends.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current West Virginia pharmacist licensure required
  • Experience with hospital pharmacy operations
  • Familiarity with Omnicell site automation preferred; training available
  • Experience with HCS order entry system preferred; training provided
  • Strong leadership and administrative skills
  • Ability to work in a behavioral health environment
