IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician San Antonio, TX
RPh on the Go is currently seeking experienced Compounding Pharmacy Technicians for multiple 13-week contract assignments in San Antonio, Texas. We have 3–4 openings available on the following shifts:
One position: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Two to three positions: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies in accordance with company policies, procedures, and state regulations.
Accurately compound and prepare medications.
Perform pharmaceutical calculations to ensure correct medication dosages.
Properly label and package medications.
Identify, manage, document, and report medication-related incidents.
Clean and sanitize pharmacy work surfaces and laminar flow hoods.
Inspect pharmacy equipment and report equipment malfunctions or defects.
Maintain pharmacy temperature logs and cleaning records.
Assist with pharmacy organization and compliance initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one year of pharmacy technician experience.
Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license.
PTCB certification required.
IV certification required.
Previous compounding experience preferred.
