Hospital Pharmacy Technician - Ventura, CA
We're seeking a Travel Pharmacy Technician for a 13+ week hospital assignment in Ventura, California. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable inpatient hospital experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply!
Assignment Details:
13+ week travel assignment
ASAP start
250-bed inpatient hospital
Variable day and afternoon shifts
Every other weekend required
Responsibilities:
Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications
Restock automated medication dispensing cabinets (Pyxis)
Answer and triage calls to the pharmacy
Assist pharmacists with daily inpatient pharmacy operations
Maintain medication accuracy and comply with all safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Active California Pharmacy Technician license
New graduates welcome
Previous IV or sterile compounding training is a strong plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
