Home Infusion Pharmacist -Philadelphia, PA
RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Home Infusion Pharmacist for an 8+ week contract assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with recent sterile compounding experience to join a collaborative home infusion team dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.
Work Environment: Low-volume pharmacy with the support of one pharmacy technician.
Responsibilities
Prepare and verify customized sterile medications, including IV therapies, in a controlled cleanroom environment.
Ensure all sterile compounding activities comply with USP <797>, USP <800>, state, and federal regulations.
Perform final verification and inspection of sterile compounded medications prior to dispensing.
Oversee and support pharmacy technicians involved in sterile compounding and medication preparation.
Maintain cleanroom standards, equipment, and environmental monitoring documentation.
Follow strict aseptic techniques to ensure the highest level of patient safety and product quality.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely medication preparation and delivery.
Maintain accurate documentation and support quality assurance initiatives.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
Minimum of 1 year of recent sterile compounding experience
Home infusion experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge of USP <797> and USP <800> standards
Strong computer skills and ability to work with pharmacy software systems
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities

Monday through Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Low-volume pharmacy environment
One pharmacy technician on staff
