Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: Rotating schedule between 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Pharmacy Setting: Closed-Door / Centralized Pharmacy
This centralized pharmacy provides patients with convenient access to medications through home delivery and patient support services. The pharmacy supports a variety of therapeutic areas, including specialty medications.
Job Responsibilities
Provide proactive patient counseling and medication education by phone
Answer patient questions regarding new prescriptions, refills, side effects, medication adherence, and proper medication use
Collaborate with prescribers and physician offices to clarify prescriptions and resolve clinical issues
Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness, drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing accuracy
Perform pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions in a high-volume closed-door fulfillment environment
Verify drug, dose, quantity, and labeling accuracy prior to dispensing
Assist pharmacy management with receiving, processing, and transferring patient prescriptions
Requirements
Active and clear Idaho Pharmacist License
0–6 years of pharmacist experience preferred
Retail, mail order, or specialty pharmacy experience preferred
New graduates will be considered
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be comfortable with a rotating Monday–Friday schedule between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM
