About This Opportunity
This Staff Pharmacist position is at a Louisiana hospital that needs reliable coverage. Responsibilities
Verify and process inpatient medication orders accurately and efficiently
Consult with physicians and nurses on medication therapy and patient care
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
Provide drug information and pharmacokinetic monitoring as needed
Ensure safe medication dispensing and full regulatory compliance
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
Experience
Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Comfortable working in a community hospital setting
Open to traveling outside of the New Orleans area
Skills
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Clear communicator with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy team members
Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working independently
