A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available at a well-established retail pharmacy in Binghamton, NY. This direct hire role offers the opportunity to lead a pharmacy team, drive business growth, and deliver exceptional patient care within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a strong partnership with the store operations team, promoting engagement and clearly communicating department and company strategies.
  • Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance by performing Drug Utilization Review and final quality checks in line with state and federal regulations.
  • Develop a profitable pharmacy business by growing prescription volume and implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Manage inventory effectively by monitoring sales trends and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand.
  • Align pharmacy performance with key departmental metrics, overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of pharmacy operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by resolving inquiries, counseling patients, and building trust and loyalty.
  • Supervise and direct pharmacists, associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and orderliness while prioritizing tasks such as cycle counts, inventory control, and timely processing of will-calls.

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • Current New York State Pharmacist License
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a retail pharmacy setting
