A Pharmacy Manager role is available in Oneonta, NY, offering both interim and permanent opportunities. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire pharmacy operation to ensure compliance, financial viability, and excellent patient care within a busy retail environment.

Location: Oneonta, NY
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Closed Sundays

    • Responsibilities:

  • Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
  • Ensure pharmacy compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management to achieve financial goals.
  • Lead business development activities in-store and within the community.
  • Supervise pharmacy support personnel, including performance management and training compliance.
  • Facilitate patient-centered services such as immunizations, MTM (Medication Therapy Management), and wellness programs.
  • Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug use, interactions, side effects, and monitor therapy adherence.
  • Maintain quality improvement programs focused on patient safety.
  • Uphold a clean, organized pharmacy environment adhering to company and legal standards.
  • Complete required continuing education and perform additional duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications:

  • Active New York State Pharmacy License.
  • Immunization Certification with comfort administering all vaccines (required).
  • Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
