A remote opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Billing & Reimbursement Specialist to support home infusion pharmacy billing for a respected nonprofit healthcare organization rooted in Montana. This temp-to-hire position offers a structured schedule, providing consistency and work-life balance.

Location: Remote (Montana Based)
Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST
  • 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM MST

    Responsibilities

  • Process home infusion pharmacy claims accurately and efficiently in a metrics-driven environment
  • Manage the entire billing lifecycle: charge entry, claims submission, follow-up, and resolution of denied or rejected claims
  • Utilize CareTend software for billing workflows, documentation, and reimbursement tracking
  • Review payer guidelines to ensure compliance with billing for infusion therapies, supplies, and associated services
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and reimbursement challenges promptly
  • Communicate effectively with payers, patients, and internal teams to ensure billing accuracy

    • Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in home infusion billing and claims management
  • Proficiency with CareTend software is required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with multiple stakeholders
