PRN Staff Pharmacist / Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)

RPh on the Go is partnering with a home infusion pharmacy in College Station, Texas seeking pharmacists for two immediate opportunities:

  • PRN/Contract Staff Pharmacist Coverage (November 16-27, 2026)
  • Full-Time Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)
  • For the right candidate, this can serve as a pathway from temporary coverage into a permanent leadership role.

    About the Pharmacy

    This home infusion pharmacy provides IV and infusion therapies for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. The pharmacist will work closely with technicians, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient patient care.

    Responsibilities

  • Review and verify medication orders
  • Oversee sterile compounding and cleanroom operations
  • Verify and dispense infusion medications and supplies
  • Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records
  • Communicate with patients and healthcare providers
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
  • Ensure compliance with USP standards and Texas pharmacy regulations
  • Support daily home infusion pharmacy operations
  • Additional PIC Responsibilities

  • Oversee pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy requirements
  • Provide leadership and supervision of pharmacy staff
  • Maintain policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Support audits, inspections, and recordkeeping requirements
  • Drive operational excellence and patient safety initiatives
  • Requirements

  • Active Texas Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience
  • Home infusion and/or sterile compounding experience required
  • Strong knowledge of sterile compounding practices and USP guidelines
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Preferred for PIC Candidates

  • Previous PIC, management, or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy compliance and operations
  • Ability to meet Texas requirements to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge
  • Contract Coverage Dates

  • November 16-27, 2026
  • Pharmacy closed Thanksgiving Day (November 26)
  • On-site in College Station, TX
