A pharmacy technician opportunity is available in Seattle, WA, for a 16-week contract role offering an immediate start. This position is with a responsive client seeking a skilled professional to contribute to their pharmacy operations in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding, including chemotherapy preparations, ensuring adherence to safety and accuracy standards.
  • Restock Pyxis medication dispensing units efficiently to support clinical operations.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to deliver optimal patient care.
  • Schedule:

  • Days/afternoons
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician license.
  • Approximately 2 years of recent hospital and intravenous (IV) compounding experience.
  • Proficient in sterile compounding techniques with attention to detail and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
