Pharmacy Technician Eastpointe, MI
We are seeking two Fulfillment Pharmacy Technicians to join a busy closed-door long-term care pharmacy in Eastpointe, Michigan. This is a full-time contract opportunity with an immediate start and the potential for extension beyond the end of the year.
This position is focused on fulfillment operations—not data entry. Technicians will primarily be responsible for accurately labeling, packaging, and preparing prescriptions for shipment. Experience with Frameworks is not required; candidates who are quick learners and adaptable are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Fill, package, and label prescriptions, including long-term care (LTC) packaging such as multi-dose punch cards and pouch packaging.
Operate pharmacy packaging equipment and complete production runs accurately and efficiently.
Pull medications, scan NDCs, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist final verification.
Check in and reconcile cycle medication exchanges from long-term care facilities.
Process returned medications and apply appropriate credits.
Receive daily wholesaler deliveries and stock inventory.
Rotate inventory and maintain appropriate medication stock levels.
Assist with inventory organization and ensure accurate product selection.
Prepare completed prescriptions for timely shipment and delivery.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
Support the pharmacy team in meeting daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Required
Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Michigan.
Minimum of one (1) year of pharmacy technician experience.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred
Previous experience in a closed-door or long-term care (LTC) pharmacy.
PTCB Certification preferred but not required.
Experience with Frameworks pharmacy software is a plus but not required.
Ability to quickly learn new pharmacy systems and workflows.

Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
