Pharmacy Operations Manager - Fresno, CA
Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a leading pediatric hospital near Fresno, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative inpatient pharmacy department supporting complex pediatric services, including PICU, NICU, acute care, oncology, rehabilitation, and emergency medicine.

Schedule: Primarily days, 5x8-hour shifts
Compensation: $83.03–$120.39/hr, based on experience
EMR: EPIC
California Pharmacist License: Required and must be in hand
Responsibilities
Assist the Director of Pharmacy with departmental goals and daily operations
Provide leadership and oversight of pharmacy staff, including pharmacists supporting inpatient, ambulatory, and IT functions
Collaborate with medical staff and interdisciplinary hospital teams
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Oversee Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement, and productivity initiatives
Lead pharmacy-related projects involving IT, automation, bedside scanning, barcoding, charge master, data reporting, and operational efficiency
Support the delivery and implementation of pharmaceutical care
Participate in pharmacy committees, task forces, and professional development activities
Clinical Environment
The pharmacy supports a wide range of pediatric services, including:
PICU and NICU
Acute Care and Rehabilitation
Oncology and Hematology
Emergency Department
Palliative Care
Investigational Drug Services
Parenteral Nutrition
Specialty clinics including Rheumatology, Pulmonology/CF, Endocrinology, Neurology, and Cardiology
Antibiotic monitoring, anticoagulation, renal dosing, IV-to-oral conversion, and medication therapy management
Requirements
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required
Active California Pharmacist License in hand
BLS certification through AHA required within 30 days of hire
3+ years of pediatric pharmacy experience required
5+ years of relevant pharmacy experience preferred
ASHP-accredited residency preferred
Strong pharmacy operations and leadership experience
