A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to support regulatory requirements in obtaining NRL pharmacy permits in Illinois and Massachusetts. This contract opportunity requires a pharmacist licensed in specified states to serve as the designated PIC, ensuring compliance and enabling operational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to meet state licensing regulations for NRL permit acquisition in IL and MA.
  • Maintain oversight of pharmacy operations in accordance with state pharmacy board standards.
  • Ensure all compounding and specialty pharmacy activities comply with applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff and regulatory agencies to facilitate licensing processes.
  • Work on-site according to assigned schedule and location.
  • Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in at least one of the following states: California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Ohio.
  • Willingness to have your license held as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC).
  • Experience with specialty compounding pharmacy operations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance specific to pharmacy practice.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Schedule & Location Options:

  • California licensed PIC: 30 hours/week onsite at specialty pharmacy in California.
  • Massachusetts or Ohio licensed PIC: 30 hours/week onsite in Dublin, OH.
  • Ohio or Illinois licensed PIC: 8 hours/week onsite in Dublin, OH.
  • Typical shift hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
