Immediate need for a Pharmacist/Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead pharmacy operations at a 36-bed rehabilitation hospital. This contract position is based in Millsboro, DE, with a focus on providing excellent pharmaceutical care in a rehab setting.
Responsibilities include managing pharmacy services while actively staffing 40 hours per week. You will oversee 1 pharmacy technician per shift, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with regulations. The role demands expertise in IV compounding (no chemotherapy involved) and familiarity with Wellsky pharmacy information system and Pyxis automation.
Pharmacy hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend, after-hours, and on-call coverage required to support continuous patient care.
