A community-focused, locally owned retail pharmacy in Boerne is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for per diem coverage. This role offers the chance to work in a high-volume setting focused on patient care and medication safety. Two days of training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the position.

Location: • Boerne, TX (910 River Road, Ste 103)

Dates & Schedule: • Training Dates: 6/25, 6/26 • Shift Dates: 6/29, 6/30, 7/1, 7/2 • Shift Hours: 8:45 AM – 6:00 PM, 30-minute lunch

Key Responsibilities: • Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions while processing a high volume of e-scripts (10+ orders per page) • Counsel patients on proper medication use and promote safety • Verify non-sterile compounding practices and ensure quality control • Assist with immunization administration as required • Collaborate with healthcare providers regarding therapy management • Oversee pharmacy technicians and workflow efficiency • Manage inventory control including handling recalls • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements • Deliver exceptional customer service and support drive-thru and delivery operations

Qualifications: • Active Texas Pharmacist License • Minimum 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication and patient counseling skills • Willingness to learn Computer RX software (training provided)
