An interim Pharmacist in Charge is needed to support a specialized retail HIV/AIDS pharmacy serving patients with mail order prescriptions. This 16-week contract role begins August 24, with an initial two-week overlap for training alongside the current Pharmacist in Charge.

Location: Apopka, FL
Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
  • Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards
  • Provide high-level patient care and medication support, particularly for HIV/AIDS medications
  • Maintain strong communication with patients, healthcare providers, and staff
  • Ensure consistent, reliable presence and punctuality throughout the assignment
  • Utilize pharmacy software to manage prescriptions and records, preferably QS1
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Florida pharmacist license required
  • Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience
  • Experience with HIV/AIDS medications must be clearly stated on the resume
  • Familiarity with QS1 software is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient care, professionalism, and effective communication
