Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IV Pharmacy Technician for a full-time opportunity in Chicago, IL. This role operates in a high-standard cleanroom environment focused on preparing critical sterile IV medications. The ideal candidate brings dedicated, hands-on mixing expertise from a hospital, home infusion, or specialty infusion pharmacy background.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and compound sterile IV medications including antibiotics, hydration solutions, minibags, and syringes.

Maintain cleanroom standards and strictly adhere to aseptic techniques and USP 797 guidelines.

Accurately label, package, and document compounded sterile preparations for dispensing.

Assist with pharmacy inventory management, data entry, and prescription filling tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of recent, hands-on sterile IV compounding experience (mixing required, not just dispensing).

Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License in good standing.

Proven experience working inside a sterile compounding cleanroom.

Strong background in hospital, home infusion, or specialty infusion settings is highly preferred.

PTCB Certification or a Sterile Compounding Certificate is a plus.
