Inpatient Hospital Staff Pharmacist | Greensboro, North Carolina
This opportunity offers an engaging pharmacy operations role within a hospital environment, focused on ensuring safe and efficient medication management. The position involves a contract-to-hire arrangement for 13 weeks, with the potential for extension or direct hire based on performance.
Responsibilities include supervising all aspects of the medication-use process, assisting with the preparation and dispensing of medications in compliance with established policies, and interpreting and verifying medication orders. You will manage inventory, oversee cart fills and controlled substance stock, and provide expert drug information to nursing staff. Supervision of technical staff involved in medication processes is also a key component of the role.
Work schedules offer flexibility with two primary shift options: a Monday through Friday 8-hour shift that rotates every third weekend (shifts range from 7:30 am to 10 pm) or a 7-on/7-off schedule with 10-hour evening shifts from 11:30 am to 10 pm.
