Lead the pharmacy operations in an evolving behavioral health setting with a hands-on role focused on establishing and managing a new pharmacy. This opportunity involves facilitating all key aspects of pharmacy setup, medication procurement, and the organization of automated systems to ensure seamless inpatient medication services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the pharmacy setup, including procurement, packaging, and stocking of medications.
  • Manage and maintain the Pyxis automation system; experience with Pyxis is essential.
  • Perform order verification for patients on-site; training provided for HCS order entry.
  • Maintain effective communication with C-suite executives and Area Directors of Pharmacy.
  • Provide leadership and coordination during the setup phase, with occasional weekend on-call duties.
  • Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with additional support during initial setup as needed.
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a pharmacy manager, preferably within an inpatient behavioral health environment.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Pyxis automation.
  • Active Missouri pharmacy license to practice.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple organizational levels and departments.
