This leadership position offers the opportunity to oversee pharmacy compliance and operations for a rapidly expanding dermatology pharmacy organization headquartered in Tennessee. The role is based primarily onsite at the administration office in Franklin, TN, with some quarterly travel to a secondary pharmacy location in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead readiness and compliance initiatives for URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board regulations
  • Develop and implement scalable SOPs, workflows, tracking systems, and documentation processes
  • Conduct mock audits to identify operational gaps and compliance risks proactively
  • Maintain multi-state licensure tracking and ensure operational compliance standards
  • Create and lead compliance training programs for pharmacy staff
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership to strengthen accountability and quality assurance
  • Drive operational consistency and audit readiness across multiple pharmacy sites
  • Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Active Tennessee Pharmacist license (candidates from various backgrounds considered)
  • Leadership experience within pharmacy settings required
  • 5+ years in pharmacy compliance, accreditation, regulatory oversight, or quality assurance preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board regulations preferred
  • Proven track record in building systems, improving processes, and driving operational accountability
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Proficient using compliance systems, spreadsheets, LMS platforms, and reporting tools
  • Location & Schedule:

  • Primarily onsite in Franklin, TN, with limited remote flexibility
  • Local candidates preferred; relocation assistance may be offered
  • Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM; no on-call or weekend duties
  • Quarterly travel to Abilene, TX pharmacy location
