An opportunity is available for a seasoned Director of Pharmacy to lead and oversee pharmacy operations for a healthcare facility in Crawfordville, FL. This contract position requires a strategic leader who can effectively manage a team of over 100 employees across multiple pharmacy service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to pharmacy staff including Assistant Directors of Pharmacy (Inpatient and Ambulatory), Clinical staff, Inventory Manager, Operations Manager, and Sterile Compounding Manager.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality care delivery.
  • Manage staffing, clinical programs, inventory control, and operational efficiency within the pharmacy department.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to enhance pharmacy services and patient outcomes.
  • Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience within a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
  • 3-5 years of hospital pharmacy experience with hands-on clinical and staffing expertise.
  • Florida Pharmacist License or willingness to obtain prior to starting.
  • Florida Consultant’s License is required.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a large multidisciplinary team.
