Compounding or Retail Pharmacist –Travel Opportunity- Bakersfield, CA
Full-Time Temporary Assignment | 4-6 weeks|
Pay: $ 70+/hour
Ready to take your pharmacy career into a specialized setting? We are seeking a licensed California Pharmacist for a full-time travel opportunity in Bakersfield, CA. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with compounding experience who enjoys quality-focused work, accuracy, and patient care.
Retail pharmacists will also be considered for a dispensing-focused temporary role.
What You’ll Do:
Support sterile and non-sterile compounding
Perform final prescription verification
Fill, label, and package medications
Communicate with providers on orders, refills, and clarifications
Counsel patients and answer medication questions
Maintain compliance with USP 795, 797, 800 and Board of Pharmacy standards
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
8:15 AM–5:15 PM
Full-time hours 4-6 weeks
Requirements:
Active California Pharmacist license
PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
3–5 years of pharmacy experience preferred
Compounding experience a plus
Retail experience will be considered
