A leading non-profit health system in one of the most beautiful and desirable coastal regions of the U.S. is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Oncology. Job Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive medication management, including ordering labs, therapy selection, and adverse event monitoring.
  • Verify chemotherapy orders and protocols ensuring accuracy, appropriate dosing, and safety.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on oncology treatment plans, manage side effects, and promote medication adherence.
  • Collaborate with providers and nursing staff during clinical rounds to optimize treatment decisions.
  • Participate in clinical trials, oversee investigational drug management, and develop institutional oncology protocols and guidelines.
  • Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required
  • Eligibility to obtain a California pharmacist license
  • PGY2 residency or fellowship in oncology, OR PGY1 plus a minimum of 3 years’ clinical specialist experience in oncology, OR 5 years’ clinical oncology specialist experience
  • Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) preferred
  • Proven ability in clinical pharmacy, not staffing, with strong expertise in oncology medication management
