A growing infusion pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Warehouse Coordinator to join their team in Bay Shore, NY. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a pharmacy technician eager to expand operational skills, particularly in inventory and warehouse management. The role offers consistent weekday hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., reporting directly to the Pharmacy Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pack patient orders according to policy, ensuring medications, supplies, and durable medical equipment (DME) arrive safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the pharmacy, shipping, and warehouse areas.
  • Manage disposal of cardboard and trash items in designated warehouse zones.
  • Assemble shipping boxes and guarantee sufficient availability of packing materials, including ice packs.
  • Perform clerical tasks, including patient chart filing and shipping coordination.
  • Participate actively in mid-year and annual pharmacy inventories.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, federal and state regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Foster a professional, cooperative work environment with dedication to company values and continuous learning.
  • Comply with workplace safety programs and immediately report any hazards or violations.
  • Uphold all compliance program policies during all job activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Desired Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy technician background with limited experience but a strong desire to learn pharmacy operations.
  • Previous exposure to inventory control, materials management, or warehouse functions preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internet technologies.
  • Experience operating office equipment such as scanners, printers, copiers, and phones.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, interruption-prone environment.
  • Proven teamwork skills and professional judgment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as the position involves physical activity.
