Traveling Inpatient Pharmacist | 13 + Weeks | Peridot, AZ

Job Overview:
Join our team as a Staff Inpatient Pharmacist at our partnering Indian Health Services community hospital located in Peridot, Arizona. We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide exceptional pharmacy services to our inpatient population. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our patients while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform inpatient staffing duties, ensuring accurate and timely medication dispensing and distribution.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and ensure patient safety.
- Monitor medication orders for appropriateness, accuracy, and potential drug interactions.
- Participate in medication reconciliation processes and provide clinical pharmacy services as needed.
- Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy technicians and interns.

Requirements:
- Pharm.D. or bachelor s degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist.
- Previous experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting preferred and working with tribal community
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of pharmacy practice standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks (Temp-To-Hire option available)
Shifts: 3-4 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
