Travel Pharmacist - IHS - Peridot, AZ

Supervise daily pharmacy operations to ensure quality and compliance.

Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost-effective medication use.

Direct the implementation and maintenance of computer-based dispensing systems.

Provide medication counseling and support to hospital staff and patients.

Assess, develop, and implement operational improvements.

Prepare monthly reports and participate in quality assurance initiatives.

Educate and train staff to promote professional growth.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state, and federal regulations.

Schedule/Shift:

4 days per week, 10-hour shifts

Variable shifts (days, nights, swing shifts, and weekends)

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience, including 2 years of management experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred, 1-year residency preferred).

Current and valid Pharmacy license.

BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).

Inpatient/ER Pharmacist must have ACLS & PALS (PALS can be obtained on-site within the first month).

Must pass a background check and drug screen.
