Experienced Hospital Pharmacist Utica, NYS (Open to a Traveler or Local)
Job Description: Under the general direction of the Pharmacy Manager or designee, will dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use. He or she may advise physicians and other health practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.
Core Job Responsibilities
Compounds and dispenses medications and other pharmaceutical supplies, reviews orders and prescriptions for appropriateness and patient safety
Required: BS or PharmD Degree
Preferred: Completion of ASHP residency program
Licensure/Certification Requirements: Active NYS Pharmacy License
Preferred: Board Certification from the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties
