Staff Pharmacist Full Time Specialty Pharmacy Temp To Perm NYC 10024

RPh on the go is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our Specialty Pharmacy team in New York City. The Staff Pharmacist will work under the guidance of the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC) and will be responsible for overseeing pharmacy technicians, students, interns, and support staff, ensuring that all operations comply with professional standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians, interns, and support staff, ensuring a high standard of work and compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Dispense medications accurately, following prescriptions and instructions provided by prescribing practitioners.
• Verify the accuracy of prescription details, ensuring the correct dosage and medication is dispensed to patients.
• Maintain strict adherence to all professional and regulatory standards, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.
• Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff to maintain a high level of service and operational efficiency.

Location: New York City, NY 10024
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Requirements:

• Active and current NY State Pharmacist license with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Previous experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy settings is required.
• Must have experience working in a high-volume environment, handling 800+ prescriptions per day.
• Ability to stand for long periods in one spot and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
