Position Title: Staff Pharmacist
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm

Position Overview:
RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist with expertise in sterile compounding and home infusion to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and dispensing compounded sterile preparations and ensuring high-quality care for patients receiving home infusion therapy. This role will also involve collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure optimal drug therapy outcomes in a home-care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Sterile Compounding: Accurately prepare and compound sterile intravenous medications, including antibiotics, nutrition, chemotherapy, and pain management, following USP  guidelines and company protocols.
•    Home Infusion: Oversee the preparation and dispensing of home infusion medications, ensuring proper dosage and patient-specific medication adjustments.
•    Patient & Provider Consultation: Provide education and guidance to patients and healthcare providers on home infusion therapy, medication administration, and side effect management.
•    Clinical Monitoring: Review patient records and collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure optimal therapy outcomes, monitoring for drug interactions, allergies, and treatment effectiveness.
•    Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including those from the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy, FDA, DEA, and USP standards.
•    Pharmacy Operations: Supervise and work with pharmacy technicians in the preparation, packaging, and labeling of compounded medications.
•    Inventory Management: Manage the ordering and inventory control of medications, sterile supplies, and infusion-related products, ensuring accurate records and timely resupply.
•    Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all sterile compounding activities, clinical interventions, and patient consultations.

Qualifications:
•    Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or equivalent from an accredited school of pharmacy.
•    Licensure: Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Oklahoma.
•    Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sterile compounding and home infusion pharmacy required. Knowledge of USP  and USP  guidelines is essential.
•    Certification: Sterile compounding certification preferred; home infusion experience is required.
•    Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and infusion pumps is a plus.
•    Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, stand for extended periods, and perform aseptic manipulations.
