Job Title: Staff Pharmacist – Contract to Hire Opportunity
Location: Sanford, FL

Duration: 4–6 Weeks (with potential to extend or convert to permanent)
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (closed for lunch 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM)
Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
A respected FQHC-based pharmacy in Sanford, FL is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a 4–6 week contract, with strong potential for contract-to-hire if it’s the right fit. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a mission-driven organization focused on patient care and community health.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
Counsel patients on prescriptions, interactions, and proper usage
Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes
Utilize McKesson's EnterpriseRx (ERx) system
Provide culturally competent care and communication to a diverse patient population
Ideal Candidate:
Strong retail or community pharmacy experience required
Prior FQHC experience highly preferred
Must be a strong communicator who values building relationships with patients and staff
Bilingual candidates highly preferred but not required – especially Spanish or Haitian Creole speakers
Must hold an active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing
