Staff Pharmacist - 13-Week Temp to Perm in Southgate, Kentucky

RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Staff Pharmacist in Southgate, Kentucky. This is a 13-week Temporary to Permanent onsite role Pharmacist. The pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.

Position details:
• Location: Southgate, Kentucky
• Setting: 13-week Temporary to Permanent Staff Pharmacist
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday with 1 weekend per month
• Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm, 8:00am – 4:00pm, or 9:00am – 5:00pm. Pharmacists are typically scheduled to work the closing shift (11:00am – 7:00pm) only once per week
• Weekend hours: Saturday 7:00am – 3:30pm, Sunday 11:00am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation
• Interact with physicians and utilize reference material to gain information on customers and prescriptions and to resolve any issues that arise
• For this role, we’re hiring for two different departments: one focuses on data entry verification and desk-based work, while the other is a product verification-based role that involves being on your feet (though sitting is permitted when possible).

Requirements:
• Clear and active Pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky
• 1+ year pharmacy experience, retail or mail order preferred

Working Conditions:
• Must be able to stand for long periods when working in the product verification department
• Manual dexterity required for sustained periods of processing and dispensing medications
