RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join a top-tier Specialty Pharmacy in Austin, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a team of healthcare professionals who are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of specialty medications.
• Manage and maintain accurate patient records, including medication histories.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care for patients with complex, chronic conditions.
• Perform inventory management tasks, including ordering and stocking medications.
• Handle prior authorizations and insurance claims to ensure timely patient access to medications.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Comply with all state and federal regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, & Friday: 9:00AM - 5:30 PM
• Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00AM - 8:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or higher in a related health field preferred.
• One or more years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy (BOP) in Texas and State Certified as a Pharmacy Technician.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Proficient in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with pharmacy software preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a positive, flexible attitude.
