PRN Staff Pharmacist Independent Pharmacy Setting Montgomery, AL
We are seeking a licensed and experienced pharmacist to join a specialty retail pharmacy in Montgomery, AL on a PRN basis. This is a great opportunity to be part of a newly opened location backed by a well-established company that values a close-knit, supportive environment. Flexibility is key, as coverage will be scheduled with 1–2 months’ advance notice, and additional shifts may also be available in Dothan, AL for those interested.
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
Closed on weekends
Primary Responsibilities:
Accurately verify prescriptions in a high-volume setting
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
Ensure all dispensing and workflow processes align with professional standards
What We’re Looking For:
Active Alabama Pharmacist license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
Strong leadership skills and comfort managing a small team
Familiarity with PioneerRx is a plus
Specialty or independent pharmacy experience is strongly preferred
