Pharmacy Technician - Temp to Perm - Plymouth, MI

RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Plymouth, MI. This is a Temp to Perm onsite role. The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for operating the Paxit automated Packaging and Dispensing equipment, fulfilling Bulk Prescriptions, and staging finished items for shipment to customers.

Position details:
• Location: Plymouth, MI
• Setting: Temp to Perm Pharmacy Technician
• Schedule: 2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm, or 4pm-12:30am, Monday - Friday, rotating holidays and weekends

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and troubleshoot Paxit packaging and dispensing equipment
• Set up packaging lots and follow inventory schedules
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
• Replenish supplies across packaging, dispensing, and staging areas
• Respond quickly to equipment faults and workflow issues
• Use systems like Paxit Manager and Framework for order tracking
• Perform audits, packaging scans, and short-fill checks
• Stage and tote prescriptions with accurate labeling
• Assist with bulk dispensing, labeling, and “owes” processing
• Communicate delays and inventory needs to the team

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Trainee with the State Board of Pharmacy required

Skills & Abilities:
• Strong computer skills
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
• Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations
• Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required
