RPh on the Go, a leading pharmacy staffing agency, seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a specialty pharmacy in Austin, Texas. This role supports pharmacists in preparing medications, managing inventory, and delivering excellent patient care.

Job Description: Join our team at a specialty pharmacy in Austin, TX, where you'll assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining inventory. This position offers a dynamic environment focused on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense specialty medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter prescription details accurately into the pharmacy system.
• Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking medications.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by pharmacy management.

Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday, & Friday: 9:00AM - 5:30 PM
• Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00AM - 8:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00AM - 1:00PM

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or higher in a related health field preferred.
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy and State Certified as a Pharmacy Technician.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong MS Office skills; experience with pharmacy software preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a flexible, positive attitude.
