Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - Hospital Environment

Location: New Orleans, LA

Contract Duration: 6 Months Temp to Hire

Positions Available: 2

Join Our Team in a Dynamic Hospital Setting!

We are seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to join our team in a fast-paced hospital environment in New Orleans. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for direct hire based on performance.

Shift Details:

Rotating shifts:

1st Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 10 PM

Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Fill medication orders using the EPIC system (training provided).

Deliver medications and assist with automated cart filling using Omnicell (training provided).

Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery.

Qualifications:

Hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell systems (training available).

IV experience is a plus but not required.

Valid Louisiana pharmacy technician license.

PTCB certification preferred but not mandatory.
