Pharmacy - Pharmacy Supervisor Full-Time Contract in Peridot, Arizona

RPh on the Go is actively hiring a Pharmacy Supervisor in Peridot, Arizona. This is a 13+ week Contract position with the potential for extension. The Pharmacy Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards while leading a team and managing performance. Flexibility in shift scheduling is offered.

Position details:
• Location: Peridot, Arizona
• Setting: Contract – Pharmacy Supervisor
• Schedule: Flexible days and hours (8-hour or 10-hour shifts)
• Full Time: 30 hours/week, Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards
• Develop and monitor financial and operational goals; integrate improvements into quality systems
• Lead policy and procedure development for department functions
• Evaluate and improve processes and service effectiveness
• Manage staff performance, training, and development
• Oversee inventory and purchasing for cost-effective, timely access to medications
• Implement and monitor pharmacy tech systems for accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare reports, track progress, and identify areas for improvements
• Participate in orientation, training, and QA initiatives
• Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of Pharmacy (PharmD preferred)
• 1-year residency (PGY1) preferred
• 3+ years of pharmacist experience
• 2+ years of hospital practice experience preferred
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (must be from AHA)
• Current and active, unrestricted pharmacist license; Arizona license preferred
• Licensed to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with 2 years of management experience
• Must be able to successfully pass background and drug screen

Working Conditions:
• Full-time contract, 30 hours per week
