Soliant is seeking a qualified pharmacist for its renowned 250-bed Level I Trauma Center in the heart of Southern Alabama.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Pharmacy Director in maintaining 24-hour accountability for the hospital pharmacy's operations
Manage department scheduling efficiently
Oversee personnel functions including recruitment, hiring, evaluations, and education
Monitor and advise on staff performance and progress
Ensure compliance with USP 797/800 standards and assist in compliance management
Evaluate and optimize pharmacy workflow for efficiency
Lead quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy
Manage pharmacy inventory and collaborate with the Pharmacy Purchaser to meet departmental demands
Represent the department in committee meetings as required
Collaborate with Health System Information Systems department for efficient management
