Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) – Temporary Assignment
Location: Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Kyle, TX
Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations at a physical rehabilitation hospital in Kyle, TX. This temporary position will be in place until a permanent manager is hired, offering an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership role and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.
Position Overview
As the Pharmacy Manager/PIC, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing daily pharmacy operations and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Managing and supervising a team of 4 pharmacists and 2 technicians.
Handling staffing, medication orders, and on-call services outside business hours.
Overseeing the transition from Med Dispense to Pyxis
Collaborating with Remote Pharmacy Services for after-hours order coverage.
Schedule & On-Call Expectations
Business Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
On-Call Coverage:
Required Qualifications
Active TX pharmacist license
Hospital pharmacy experience (required)
Hospital supervisory experience (required)
IV certification per TSBP regulations
Experience with pharmacy order entry systems (Wellsky preferred)
Familiarity with automation systems (Pyxis experience preferred, especially system transitions)
