Pharmacist PA
RPh on the Go is seeking a licensed Pennsylvania Pharmacist for a full-time Long Term Care contract assignment with the potential for extension.
Assignment Details
Contract: 1 month with possible extension
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Pharmacy Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities
Verify medication orders entered by pharmacy technicians for skilled nursing, personal care, and hospice facilities.
Perform final verification of blister-packed medications.
Verify sterile and non-sterile compounded medications.
Respond to clinical questions from nursing facilities, hospice nurses, and physicians.
Count and document controlled substances in the perpetual inventory.
Check and maintain emergency medication boxes.
Utilize QS1, DocuTrack, and PointClickCare (PCC) pharmacy systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing.
Minimum of 1 year of recent pharmacist experience.
Long Term Care pharmacy experience required.
Ability to stand, sit, perform fine motor tasks, and lift up to 30 pounds.
