Staff Pharmacist Job - Big Island, Hawaii

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and ensure accuracy.
• Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians.
• Provide essential clinical support, including renal dosing, therapeutic drug monitoring, anticoagulation monitoring, and therapeutic interchange.
• Prepare IV admixtures, compound, and dispense medications.

Tools and Technology:

• Meditech EMR system
• Med carousel centralized storage
• Pharmacy Keeper
• PyxisES dispensing cabinets

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Meditech computer system.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Active RPh and State of Hawaii License.

Schedule:

• Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends (24/7 coverage).
