Clinical Pharmacist Opportunity at Burbank area medical center.
Perfect opportunity for new PGYI to work at one of Southern California's most prestigious health systems. Clinically progressive pharmacy department: fully decentralized model. Clinical pharmacy staff will rotate among satellite pharmacies (Med Surg, ICU, ER)

Setting: Hospital
Schedule: variable days and afternoons
Duties:
- Verifies physician orders and looks for therapeutic incompatibilities
- Consults with and advises Medical Staff to ensure optimal medication therapy regimens for patients
- Reconciles MARs and reviews antibiotic sensitivities
- Coordinates the filling and timely delivery of drugs and IV solutions from the pharmacy.
- Compounds, checks, supervises IV admixture per physician orders.
- Provides supervision and direction for pharmacy support staff.
Requirements:
- PharmD
- PGYI
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
