Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Seymour, Indiana
This per diem pharmacist role is based in Seymour, IN, supporting a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy environment. The position will be needed for select dates in June—11, 12, 15-19—with weekday shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Friday (lunch break 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM). No holidays or weekend work is required.
Responsibilities include preparing prescription orders for collection or delivery, overseeing ordering of equipment and supplies, controlling inventory, and applying best practice protocols for storing prescription drugs and controlled substances. You will verify prescriptions with healthcare providers as needed, maintain accurate records including drug lists and expiration dates, and monitor pharmacy presentation and product placement. Customer requests and complaints will be addressed professionally. Additional duties involve maintaining retail pharmacy operations, providing telepharmacy support, collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager regarding staff needs, and ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. The dispensing software used is Liberty RX.
