Mileage Covered! Per Diem Retail Pharmacist – Bay Area California
Soliant Health is actively seeking Per Diem Retail Pharmacists to provide coverage in the Bay Area of California. This position offers a flexible schedule with the opportunity to pick up 2-3 shifts per week, providing essential pharmacy services across various locations. Job Details:Location: Northern California (must be willing to commute between stores)
Schedule: Per diem coverage, as needed. Average of 2-3 shifts per week
Software Used:
McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx)
Rx30 (Cardinal Health)
Mileage: Mileage reimbursement for travel over 30 miles one way to a store
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and closing the pharmacy, ensuring all regulatory and safety standards are met
Overseeing and managing pharmacy technicians during shifts
Dispensing medications and counseling patients on proper use and safety
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a patient-first approach
Managing inventory and ensuring the pharmacy is well-stocked
Assisting with any operational needs to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
Required Qualifications:
Active California pharmacy license
At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience, including opening and closing a pharmacy and managing technicians
Familiarity with McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) and Rx30 (Cardinal Health) software
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Willingness to commute between locations as needed
