A pharmacy technician position is available for a 13-week contract in Dallas, TX, focused on long-term care medication fulfillment. The role operates under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and involves various duties essential to pharmacy operations in a compliance-driven environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Filling prescriptions accurately under pharmacist supervision.
  • Prepackaging medications according to regulatory standards.
  • Assisting with the final checking and packaging of medications before pharmacist review.
  • Coordinating timely and accurate delivery of medications to customers.
  • Supporting inventory management by receiving, rotating stock, and assisting with physical inventories.
  • Collaborating with supervisors to maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning workspace, including equipment checks.

    • Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current pharmacy technician license from Maine.
  • Experience working in long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and work accurately under supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Rotating weekends required.

    • This position does not involve intravenous (IV) preparation and is ideal for pharmacy technicians looking to work in medication fulfillment within a regulated environment. The opportunity is a 13-week contract with an immediate start available.
