Contract Pharmacist – 13 Weeks (Fridley, MN)
Location: Fridley, MN (Minneapolis area)
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday–Friday; must be flexible to work one of the following shifts weekly:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Shift Structure: 5x8-hour shifts per week
Job Duties Include:
Dispense and verify prescription medications
Monitor patient compliance and usage
Maintain legal and accurate pharmacy records
Counsel patients on medications and devices
Prepare sterile compounds and other prescriptions
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff
Supervise technicians and support team
Provide wellness services (e.g., BP checks, smoking cessation)
Requirements:
Active pharmacist license
Strong attention to detail and patient care
Long-term care (LTC) experience preferred, but retail pharmacists are encouraged to apply
